Released in 2018, this is their first EP, consisting of six tracks that return to a dark and introspective sound reminiscent of their early work. In contrast to their previous work, "Starboy," which took a grand pop direction, this EP delicately and frankly depicts emotions such as heartbreak, loneliness, and regret. Upon its release, it received a huge response worldwide, reaching number one on the US charts and charting high in multiple countries and regions. In a later interview, they described this work as "a work of art that provides catharsis for the soul."

This six-track mini-album was released unexpectedly. While Frank Dukes was at the helm, Mike Will Made It, Skrillex, and Daft Punk's Guy-Manuel also contributed to the production. The melancholic and sensual slow jams, sung in a sweet, delicate voice that seems to emanate from the darkness, are reminiscent of his earlier work, exemplified by "Call Out My Name," which samples a Nicolas Jaar song. The "Starboy" feel of "Hurt You," featuring Gesaffelstein, is also an interesting and excellent track.
