Kanye's third album features a mischievous remark to 50 Cent, "Even if you lose, don't retire. I like his rap." Honestly, I was worried that it might follow the same path as his previous album, "Late Registration," which tried to be "musical," but in the end, this album is a cute "hip-hop album" reminiscent of his debut, "The College Dropout," in the sense that it reminds us of the fun of freaky sampling. The lead single, "Stronger," which samples Daft Punk and whose idea is actually an imitation of Swizz, is fantastic, and the guest appearances by T-Pain, Dwele, and DJ Premier are raunchy and fun. The extensive use of outside talents like DJ Toonp and Mike Dean, who were T-Pain's partners, has also paid off. I was blown away.
