Formed in San Francisco in 1973, this is one of America's leading rock bands. Steve Perry's (vo) soaring high-pitched vocals and Neal Schon's (g) melodic guitar steadily expanded their fanbase, and their popularity exploded with the albums "Escape" (1981) and "Frontiers" (1983).
This album includes hits from their peak period, such as "Open Arms," which was the theme song for the movie "Umizaru" (2004), "Separate Ways," which was used in the WBC (World Baseball Classic) television broadcasts, and "Don't Stop Believin'," which was covered in the TV series "Glee" and became a revival hit, and also includes "Love a Woman," a single from when they resumed activities in 1996. Supervised by Steve Perry, who supported the band during its peak, this 2-disc 180g heavy vinyl set features the latest remastering from the original master tapes. It's a
special edition released in Japan to commemorate their visit, featuring new liner notes, lyric translations, and a Japanese obi strip!
