To commemorate the 60th anniversary of The Beatles' visit to Japan,

this year marks the 60th anniversary of The Beatles' performances at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo from June 30th to July 2nd, 1966, which created a sensation throughout Japan. To mark this milestone, "Please Please Me" and "With the Beatles," originally released as commemorative albums for their visit in 1966, will be re-released as SHM-CDs in paper sleeve packaging that reproduces the original artwork.

Based on "With the Beatles," a Japanese compilation LP released in 1966 to commemorate their visit, this release includes tracks previously available only in mono in Japan, now in stereo. It comes in a luxurious package with a uniquely designed jacket and obi strip, and an 8-page booklet containing color photographs and lyrics.
