The Japanese edition vinyl of the original soundtrack for "Star Wars: A New Hope" is being released in a limited production run! It features the original Japanese jacket and obi strip, and the record is released on blue colored vinyl!

This is the original soundtrack for George Lucas's first "Star Wars" film ("Episode IV: A New Hope"), released in the US in 1977 (and in Japan in 1978). Composer John Williams won an Academy Award for Best Original Score for this film. Many of themes that shaped the "Star Wars" saga were created from this work, including "Star Wars Theme," "The Empire Strikes Back," and "Princess Leia's Theme." "The Cantina Band" also originates from this film.
The audio source is a 192kHz/24bit master, remastered by Shawn Murphy and Skywalker Sound based on the 1977 soundtrack and released in 2018.
