The Japanese-edition vinyl of the original soundtrack for "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" is being released in a limited-edition run! It features the original Japanese jacket and obi strip, and the record is released on red colored vinyl!

This is the original soundtrack for "Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back" (directed by Irvin Kershner), released in Japan in June 1980. The music is composed by John Williams. This album features the first appearances of "Darth Vader's March" (Imperial March) and "Yoda's Theme," as well as many other famous tracks such as "Asteroid Field," "Han Solo and the Princess," and "The Devil's Tree." The audio source is a 192kHz/24bit master, remastered by Shawn Murphy and Skywalker Sound based on the 1980 soundtrack and released in 2018.
