●The Chinese-language album released in 1984, which produced the hit song "Tsugunai," is now available on the super high-end analog record "100% Pure LP," which was revived last year! The album mainly features songs from the original albums "Tabibito" (1983) and "Tsugunai" (1984) released after the artist moved to Taurus Records, and also includes a re-recorded version of the famous Chinese pop song "He Ri Jun Zai Lai" as a highlight, for a total of 12 tracks.
●The 100% Pure LP is a special Made in Japan product that appeared in 2012 and is a pioneer of modern high-quality records that has attracted a lot of attention from all over the world. One of its features is the use of "uncolored virgin vinyl," eliminating all colorants that affect sound, such as carbon, which are usually used in analog records. By using only pure straight vinyl chloride as the raw material, the stability of the molding is significantly enhanced.
Another key point is the adoption of "metal master pressing." By omitting the metal mother and stamper from the usual process leading up to the pressing of analog records, and pressing directly from the metal master, it is possible to create grooves with overwhelming fidelity. However, due to its inferior durability, the number of pressings will be strictly limited.
Furthermore, this release uses 45 RPM, which is used for 12-inch singles, instead of the usual 33 RPM for LPs. This results in a double LP set with less time that can be recorded on each side, but it allows for wider and longer grooves to be engraved, and the high-speed rotation improves stability, creating a significant advantage in detail reproduction and rich volume.
The sound source is a newly transferred 96kHz/24bit WAV file, and the mastering has been done as flat as possible to avoid losing the sound's freshness and dynamic range. We pursue a natural sound that is faithful to the original recording.
In short, by thoroughly pursuing every step from the selection of master and vinyl materials to pressing, we create "100% Pure LP" that brings out the true value of vinyl records to the fullest. While retaining the guts and warmth unique to analog, it delivers a truly pure and clear sound, completely free from muddiness and impurities.
