●Following "Redemption" (1984), this 1986 Chinese-language album, her second from Taurus Records, is now available on the super high-end analog record "100% Pure LP"! Featuring songs mainly from her original albums "Lover" (1985) and "Letting Myself Go with the Flow of Time" (1986), from the period when she was churning out hits, it also includes covers of "MERRY X'MAS IN SUMMER" and "House Mannequin in the Night Fog," for which Teresa herself wrote the Chinese lyrics.
●"100% Pure LP" is a special Made in Japan product that appeared in 2012 and is a pioneer of modern high-fidelity records that has attracted great attention from all over the world. One of its features is the use of "uncolored virgin vinyl," eliminating all colorants that affect sound, such as carbon, which are usually used in analog records. By using only pure straight vinyl chloride as the raw material, the stability of the molding is significantly enhanced.
Another key point is the adoption of "metal master pressing." By omitting the metal mother and stamper from the usual process leading up to the pressing of analog records, and pressing directly from the metal master, it is possible to create grooves with overwhelming fidelity. However, due to its inferior durability, the number of pressings will be strictly limited.
Furthermore, this release uses 45 RPM, which is used for 12-inch singles, instead of the usual 33 RPM for LPs. This results in a double LP set with less time that can be recorded on each side, but it allows for wider and longer grooves to be engraved, and the high-speed rotation improves stability, creating a significant advantage in detail reproduction and rich volume.
The sound source is a newly transferred 96kHz/24bit WAV file, and the mastering has been done as flat as possible to avoid losing the freshness of the sound and dynamic range. We pursue a natural sound that is faithful to the original recording.
