This is a tie-in product project for the book "Mixing Up The Medicine" (release date for the Japanese translation is TBD), which will be released overseas in October 2023.
Released in conjunction with the book, which presents Dylan's archives from an unprecedented perspective, this album is an introductory work featuring 12 exquisite songs that are essential to understanding Dylan, including "Blowin' in the Wind," a representative song released in the early 60s that made Dylan's name famous, "Like a Rolling Stone," which was a huge hit that reached No. 2 in the US, and "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," which is also known for being covered by Eric Clapton and
Guns N' Roses. The book, which shares the same title, is the most comprehensive book ever published about Bob Dylan's work, covering Dylan's life from his childhood in Hibbing, Minnesota, to his first recordings in the 1950s, and through his important career which has left behind many milestones, up to his latest album.
